About the Spatial Planning Process
What is our Spatial Planning Service?
Our process focuses on disecting and understanding your home - including its current and potential program, access to light, landscape, functionality and flow. This allows us to explore and arrive at an outcome which maximises the value of your existing home.
Whether you’re unsure where to start with your renovation, already working with a builder but need a design vision, or simply want to explore the potential of your home, we provide clarity and direction tailored to your needs so you can be confident in moving forward with your project.
Spatial Planning Service
Our Spatial Planning Review service is designed as a clear and accessible first step for homeowners To understand what’s possible before committing to full architectural or building services. This process is targetted towards homeowners looking to explore the potential of their existing homes, or those working with project home builders who are unsure which design works best for their family, or what design changes they need to make and need a third party opinion.
In addition to our Base Services, we also offer additional services such as Lighting Design, Electrical Layout, Joinery Design, External Design and much more. These additional services compliment our base package by allowing you to succesfully navigate everything from a custom Kitchen layout, the intricacies of lighting and electrical placement or tacking that big outdoor project.
If you already have a floor plan locked in or working with a project home builder, not a problem, you can still select any of our additional services from providing a review of the builders floor plan options, to tailoring their base kitchen layout to suit your design and functional needs.
Process
Review our Service Options on the following page, you do not have to select your final options to get started but will help us best direct our efforts to suit your needs.
Get in touch via our email or socials below. We will send through our Project Brief Questionnaire to develop an understanding of your goals and project needs.
We will then review your response and selected Services, before preparing a consolidated Fee Proposal for your approval before we commence.
Once accepted - within 10 business days you will recieve 2-3 concept designs targetting and pushing your brief, allowing you to assess potential options and changes.
Following this we will schedule a 20min Online Meeting to discuss your options and presented ideas.
With full clarity from this process, you will recieve a Final Drawing Pack including Existing Floor Plan, Demolition Plan, and Proposed Floor Plan (as well as any addiitonal service items selected).
These drawings will form a clear foundation for discussions with builders, consultants or for next-stage Design Development towards Authority Approval.
